What are the typical successful arrangements for compensation for a houseboy situation? I realize this may be highly variable, but there must be certain ranges that are customary. If I am to offer to set up an arrangement, what types of benefits should I offer.

Salary amount? Own bedroom? Use of one of my cars? Travel with me, how often?

Can some people post some rough ranges of what they consider appropriate? I'm not asking ranges, but I'd love to hear from employers and houseboys alike on what they consider to be fair recompense. It is quite difficult to make an arrangement without knowing a little bit about the market rates. There is no salary survey site for such work to look at when determining an appropriate compensation package....
