  1. Don't worry buddy you will. And another piece of advice don't give up just be patient. There are some genuine employers seeking houseboys. You shouldn't let bad people screw it up for the rest. Just keep doing what you are doing and paying attention to the forum posts I do and you will find what you seek :-)
  2. Hello all and I hope the right people take this forum post as a warning in regards to meeting. I although am still somewhat a newly to the site have had two successful situations so far. I have noticed since joining that there are always numerous stories in the forums regarding houseboys scamming employers. I have very strict and intelligent ways of finding out whether or not an houseboy is lying. I used to not listen to the forums..BOTH of the guys who I hired who were members of the site for quite some time told me stories and lists of names of people who had befriended them or people who they thought "controlled" the site. The first gentleman in particular told me how a couple of employers tried to steal his identity who were from foreign countries. The way I decided to go about deciding whether or not to believe either of the gentleman I hired was to create temporary profiles "as a houseboy" to see if what they were saying was true or not. and in fact I found it extraordinarily unbelievable to find out that every word they stated down to the list of names were 100% correct. As a "houseboy" I even happened to be contacted by the "EXACT SAME PROFILE" as my first guy that I hired described to me. The potential employer asked me for an excessive amount of personal info and I sent him photos that "were of me when I was younger" and then I never heard from them again. I returned to the site to find out that they had then blocked me from viewing their page or had either turned off or deleted their profile. I then changed my approach to this site and by doing so I hired BOTH of the guys who I normally wouldn't have thought twice about hiring after hearing their stories but because of a little common sense and by being creative and taking matters into my own hands I had to amazing gentleman work for me who have been with me for over 4 months now! One guy I gave him a vacation time off for a week and attempted to "test" him by allowing him to drive from my home 6 hours in my own vehicle to see his friends and family and he actually returned. Granted I had tracking devices etc on my luxury vehicle lol but regardless he didn't run away with my vehicle and it was returned in the same condition that it left in. I thought that maybe my first guy was a once in a lifetime find but by attempting the same approach as the first guy when hiring my second helper prooved again to be a success. ...I find it strange that there are grown men who would do the things to young men of this site that was described to me. And yes I "AM AWARE" that there are bad houseboys but in the end its the houseboys on this site that need to be aware. We as employers know that we have to spend money to relocate houseboys. I have yet to meet a houseboy that was within 1-2 hours drive from me lol In a perfect world that would be great but this isn't a perfect world which means we have to trust one another. If new houseboys that join this site see and hear the horror stories from the old members as I heard from my two houseboys then of course they are going to retaliate. If I were in their shoes stranded with no where to go but to join a "houseboy site" with the attempts of bettering myself and having to hear when I join that "EMPLOYER NUMBER 1" was a child rapist or "EMPLOYER NUMBER 2" is a person attempting to collect pics then I would also retaliate out of anger, which goes back to the saying "you get what you put out". If we use a little common sense as I have heard some employers state then maybe some of these "accused" horror stories of houseboy scammers wouldn't arise. WE as employers have NOTHING TO LOOSE. If you feel that you are wasting money by trusting someone to show up then I don't feel you are on the right site. Of course you are going to spend money holding interviews until you find the right match. If you think that you can read someone from a few emails then good luck!! Maybe thats why some of you are still on this site with no success story. Choosing not to send someone money isn't going to solve the problem because I don't know any idiot who is going to travel across country to a complete stranger without knowing that they have a way back home if something goes wrong! Some of you (which I found from my little test) ONLY offered to fly me to you and expected me to "trust" that if something went wrong that I would have a way back home (which I found to be complete bullshit) IF there are houseboys that would do that I caution you guys NOT to do that.I myself at the early age of 15 was kicked out and disowned by my family because of my lifestyle. I also because of that situation took on the life of a houseboy and was FORTUNATE enough after living on the streets to find a position that helped me to succeed and become independent. I think that is what this SHOULD be about. NOT hiring a young guy with the hopes of using him sexually and then throwing him out on the street when your done with him or when he becomes to OLD for you. HOUSEBOYS I know it may be hard to deal with your current situation but HOUSEBOYS you need to use common sense. Most of you in this day and age are internet savvy and have amazing computer smarts. Just take the time to protect yourselves from some of these creeps on this site. I am not going to name names in a forum because thats pointless!! I simply hope that houseboys who are reading this will take my advice and just be careful and creative about the way you meet people on ANY of these internet sites. You have millions of examples of ways NOT to go about doing things by just doing a google search lol. For those who are worried about HOUSEBOYS scamming...how about we take our time and effort to help these young men better themselves so that they don't become the negative. If someone messages me (as I have been messaged in the past) and it seems that all they want is money "SO WHAT" instead of calling them a scammer (which I don't know why someone would do that just because someone wants money...that is the reason some young men want to be a houseboy) ..we should instead think of ways to deal with that person. The guy who messaged me asking me to wire him money I simply chatted with and said simply "I know you are in a bad situation right now in your life and I have no problem sending you money"..." I offered to send him more money than he asked for and told him that he could do whatever he chose to do with the money. If he chose not to come with me and just needs a helping hand then that is fine." "I stressed that I would like to help him so that he would not need to ever ask anyone for money. AND LOW AND BEHOLD after sending him the money...two days later he called me and said he would like to know more about potentially working for me. I said I am glad he chose to pursue "US" and that I would purchase him a ticket to me only to find out that he had took it upon his self to take the money that I am sent originally and book "his own travel" to me. Now whether or not this young man was trying to scam me originally or even scammed someone before...because I chose the positive instead of the negative I turned his life around. He is now in college and working as an RN. He used to show up sometimes to run errands for me (before i hired my two current houseboys)and do other things that I needed after my accident as a thank you for the help that I gave him on succeeding in life. SO IN CONCLUSION if you read this far "houseboys" I hope that you will take the advice I gave in the forum post with you and apply it. You will see as I did that by taking a little time and effort that things will turn out for the best. If you are one of the few houseboys who may be a scammer or even scared to pursue employment I hope that "my success story" will help you better yourselves. Im sure there will some "employers" that will be upset by this post. I say to you "go fuck yourself" because if you are in deed the type of employer who would have a problem with this post then you deserve nothing but negativity to have the audacity to treat a young man the way that some of you do! Its degrading to our community some of the things that some gay men do and then we wonder why we are looked down upon as a community or end up being "scammed" as some of you so bluntly accuse others of! KHARMA is a bitch/ YOU GET WHAT YOU GIVE/TREAT OTHERS AS YOU WOULD YOURSELF...these and many other well known quotes and phrases we ALL need to realize and embrace.
  3. actually I am someone who has good credit..I have never used a credit card etc...its not true that most houseboys are in bad condition in terms of there credit which is what some employers who are identity theives know. Most younger houseboys under the age of about 25 usually wont have had credit cards or issues with credit other than having (no credit history). This is something identity thieves look for. and yes the info he posted about taking care of yourself and having an exit plan is a good one!!
  4. BUDDY I WOULDNT EVEN WASTE MY TIME ON THESE POSTS. YOU WILL REALIZE THE SAME THING AS I DID. THIS SITE CATERS TO THESE TYPES OF GUYS. I HAVE BEEN A MEMBER FOR A WHILE AND I HAVE STARTED TO SEE A PATTERN OF EMPLOYERS ALWAYS CALLING HOUSEBOYS SCAMMERS. IF YOU NOTICE IN THE FORUMS SOME HOUSEBOYS ARE STARTING TO SPEAK OUT AGAINST THE "EMPLOYERS WHO ARE ALSO SCAMMERS" AND THEY DONT LIKE IT. i WAS TIPPED OFF BY A HOUSEBOY ABOUT A POTENTIAL SCAMMER. THE EMPLOYER HE WAS REFERRING TO CONTACTED ME AND SENT ME THE "EXACT SAME" EMAIL THAT HE DID THE OTHER HOUSEBOY. SO I TOLD HIM THAT I MERELY WASNT INTRESTED. HE THEN MOUTHED OFF IN THE FORUM ABOUT ME BEING SCAMMER JUST BECAUSE I REFUSED TO BE INTRESTED IN HIM..LOL YOU HAVE TO JUST DO WHAT YOU DID HERE..KEEP SPEAKING OUT SO THAT THE GOOD HOUSEBOYS ON THIS SITE SEE OUR POSTS AND KNOW WHO TO WATCH OUT FOR. THERE ARE MORE PERVS ON THIS SITE THAN GOOD PEOPLE. I SENT YOU AN EMAIL ON YOUR PROFILE WITH A LINK WITH SOME INFO ON IT THAT WAS GIVEN TO ME BY ANOTHER HOUSEBOY OF ALL THE EMPLOYER SCAMS ON THIS SITE WHO WORK TOGETHER. TAKE A LOOK AT IT AND KEEP IT AS A REFERENCE AND IF ANYONE ON THE LIST CONTACTS YOU DONT RELOCATE OR ATTEMPT TO ACCEPT ANY OFFER FROM THEM.
  5. You cant convict someone regardless of whether they lied to you if you "willingly" sent him money. Its not theft it was a gift from you to him regardless of the reason. I am not angry at your post..just giving some info regarding what you are saying you were trying to do. And I hope you realize that if you try to pursue it you will have to let the police know where it is that you met and how you met...
  6. if you have had half a dozen houseboys I would think that it was YOU that was the problem. As for the types of Employers I disagree. Id change the three to 1. The Pervert who wants sex and to control a guy and not pay them 2. The Rich Guy who wants sex and to controal a guy buy offering them the world but dont disclose their intentions upfront 3. An honest/genuine employer who actually wants an honest young guy to relocate and both be a houseboy and an employee. As for the types of houseboys 1. The Scammer 2. Those who are pissed off by being thrown out by employers number 1 and 2 after they are done with them 3. The genuine houseboy that Employer Number 3 would be searching for. :-) I am fairly new to the site and Call it like I see it. Employer Number 3 is very rare on this site!!
  7. This coming from a user with the name "slavehouseboywanted" do you think that maybe he was desperate to leave a bad situation but later changed his mind after seeing what type of guy you were?
  8. I dont know why someone would give anyone on here their personal info. How do we know that you arent an identiy thief? Houseboys please be smart about this. I have only been a member for a few days now. Have been contacted by almost 10 people..all who seemed like very strange offers. Im starting to see a pattern and im beginning to think about whether or not this site is worth my time. Im sure when the site was created it was ok just like other sites but because of sleezy/liars it has gone downhill. So many fake people and liars it seems. I hope I am able to find the right guy but I think I may just delete my profile later on. One pattern I have noticed is why employers ask houseboys to pay their way to them and then they will reimburse them? I think thats the biggest scam there is. And most of them make up this lame story about "I have been scammed before" it seems to get old. Employers are susposed to pay for travel. It should be common sense for employers to know that most of us cannot afford to pay for travel. If we could we wouldnt be here looking for work. So houseboy please be smart about this. There seems to only be a few smart people who are genuine/ honest houseboys who arent sleeze and sluts. People seem to not have respect for themselves anymore. But anyhow to the low percentage of good houseboys on the site just please be careful and always remember what signs to look for in terms of bad employers!! I have chatted with two houseboys so far who are honest guys who have given me some tips about how to go about seeking an employer on the site and am very glad that I took their advice now after recieving so many sketchy replies to my profile.
  9. Houseboys be aware. User funkywabit and tlcote are scammers. Do Not send them any photos or personal information. They will offer you a sign on bonus and much more but their only attempt is to get your personal information and photos of you.
