I am new to the site and after reading the forums I noticed two guys who had already flagged these two employers TLCOTE and FUNKYWABIT as possible scammers. Houseboys beware. They also contacted me promising a sign on bonus and other things to try and get me to send them my personal information. Also be aware of things to look for when people message you like wanting you to travel to them without buying a one way ticket!! thats usually a good indication that the person is up to no good. Also if they ask you to send them pics to an offsite email address (when you have already posted photos in your profile) this is a good indication that they might be scams as well.

yes thanks for posting this. They also scammed me as well asking me for personal information to obtain a background check as well as photos and then I never heard from them again.

wow I am glad that there is a forum on this site. I am a newcomer and have never done this sort of thing before. I am glad that you guys are making houseboys aware of these sort of things so that we dont end up in bad situations.
