  1. We have had 3 long successful term Houseboys and while every situation and agreement is different I pay what the national average is listed for an Au Pair. Here in the US it's roughly $200 per week, then give them room/board and cover any travel that they do with us or meals out. We do not cover phone expenses or auto expenses. Any food request we are usually happy to accommodate. When meeting someone for the first time we will not pay any money up front but we will reimburse them for travel to us. We do this because of all of the scammers. ABSOLUTELY NO MONEY BEFORE WE MEET THEM! I tell everyone one of them this upfront and at some point most of them ask for money. They love to ask to pay for a ticket then send them money for incidentals like meals even when they are only an hour away. It's all a big scam and this site in particular has gotten very very bad. There is a lack of Moderation. Good Luck

  2. I am beginning to wonder if any of the houseboys on this or any other site are real. I have contacted a few, and they all wanted money in advance without verification of any sort. They say exactly what they know you want to hear, but then it becomes clear that is it a money grab scam. I would really like to find a houseboy that needed a place to stay and did not want money in advance. There is only one that I thought may have been legit, but then he stopped talking to me. Some say they want a salary. I have never had a houseboy and I do not know what to expect to pay a houseboy.

  3. Wonderful description and handsome young man. Anyone who gets to share your company should consider himself extremely fortunate. Paul and I wish we could meet someone like you but are realistic and want to encourage you and wish you success with your search here and great happiness when you find the right situation.

  4. Would you have any interest in working for two seniors, 70 and 77. We've been together for 37 years. Neither of us have any children and it would be good to have and nice boy around to take care of us. We travel quite a bit. We just spent a month in Scandinavia and are headed to Egypt in October. It would be nice to show someone the world.

  5. I have to agree and I wish I had learned my lesson earlier in time. And that is true with Silver Daddies as well. If someone has the money to hire a houseboy, I would suggest that you fly out to interview them if they are serious. And since so many of them are in NY or California, I would suggest setting up interviews with them and give them a couple hundred dollars for their time, it's the right thing to do, and I mean ONLY for an interview, not a road test!!!!!!! Treat people with respect from the start and hopefully they show you the same respect and trust. Then you know you have found a gem.

  6. Gay couple. Central California. Age 45/55. Looking for a permanent arrangement for a HouseBoy. One that is more of a jock/twunk. I’m the alpha of the house and we need assistance from a jock’ish beta young man that would become part of the family and enjoy the benefits of a nice, comfortable and stable life.

  8. With Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and other browser platforms, there is an add-on application you can get generally called Reverse Image Search allowing you to RIGHT click on a photo and search for similar across numerous websites. A good 30% of the 'houseboys' on this website are FRAUDULENT - using someone else's photos OR claiming to be someone else. PLUS, IF you contact someone and they refuse to send additional photos - THAT'S a good indication that something's wrong!
