I'm sure I'm in the wrong forum or this may be covered elsewhere. Is there a way to do a private profile picture? I'm not exactly comfortable posting my face publically (hence the sad excuse of a crotch shot). Is there a way to post a photo privately?

yes, it is likely a good idea not to publically show your face for privacy reasons

you can make any photo but your primary profile photo private
