This new format for the site is the worst ! Very difficult to use ! Very hard to navigate, can’t find what I’m looking for , miserably horrid ! 

It will take some time to get use to. But, all the main features are on the bottom of the screen and the buttons on top left.  Once you play around a bit, I hope you like it more.  If you have specific suggestions, please share.

I don't see a way to get to a user's profile from the forum. I can click on their name and see their activity, but I don't see a way to actually get to their profile. Isn't the whole idea to be able to easily find profiles that might be a good match? Is there some link I'm overlooking?

You will never see the full site profile from the forum.  We use a forum software that is separate from the main site. To get someone's HB profile, copy and paste their name and put in the main site search.
