every couple of days, i continue to have the red circle number for a message i already read, no matter how many times i click thru it or other recent messages

there is currently one in my box for a message i read this morning or yesterday

at least some of the time it is the admin messages at the bottom sent to the wrong user that gives a confusing message notification, correct
