  1. Hi All. Just a few words to add to this thread in the hope of contributing some common sense and some experiences. 1 - there is nothing is the world as dumb as an older gay man when confronted with a handsome 20-something guy who wants to play. I’m not being rude - this is all of us employers. Preferably J/O first then look at the profiles. 2 - always spend time checking - use google image search, which often reveals copied porn stars’ photos. There’s a whole series of profiles of ’trained slave bois’ ‘seeking ownership’ or similar wording. Too good to be true - too right! Turn-ons are invariably ‘honesty’ and turn-offs ‘dishonesty’ - it’s so funny you should laugh at it. The Admin here deletes them as fast as he can. Always spend plenty of time swapping emails and on skype - if that’s not possible, there’s a problem! 3 - confession time - I have bought air tickets (I’m in Europe) but of course don’t spend more than you are OK to lose, just in case it doesn’t work out. I did even send money to the US though the guy DID come to Europe and was an absolute Angel and we keep in touch (he’s in college). In summary - do be cautious; check as much as you can and ask lots of questions. Only proceed if you have NO doubts. And on a final positive note - I’ve met some wonderful guys on HB!
  2. Gentlemen - I'm afraid he's up to his usual tricks. "steward on superyachts" translates as helping our friend clean up his yacht for sale. As for "a wide range of skills", one of the characteristics of a pathological liar is that they have to be better at everything. Despite the fact that they know nothing, which according to the context, can be dangerous of course. Take care all!
  3. Evalisc is not fake, he's actually quite a nice guy, but he does have 2 big problems: 1 - he's a pathological liar, so will tell stories about anything and you can't trust anything he says 2 - he has some sort of addiction to casual hookups, so the moment your back is turned, he'll be out with some stranger Be warned guys !
  4. A couple of thoughts to add to this thread... Employers may well be genuine and have an active profile for more than 12 months. Here in Europe we had 2 great US houseboys, but they can't stay here long due to silly visa issues. One will be back this Summer. I don't think it's a crime to take some time to find the perfect houseboy. On fakes: employers (me included) should try to forget their dicks when searching. Try using google image search on photos - fake profiles immediately show up as porn star images copied from the net. It's not that difficult to spot. And if they make a point of being HONEST (often in caps) then <the lady doth protest too much methinks> (with apologies to Shakespeare). But on the positive side, there are some great genuine houseboys out there and this site does provide a very valuable service to both employers and houseboys, who both benefit from a good match.
  5. Michael, we know change is necessary from time to time, but this is disastrous. The site is almost unusable. I'm browsing with chrome on a Win7 asus ultrabook, but the flaws are too numerous to list - surely you must be aware of this. I'd recommend a return to the previous code until you get the new code properly tested and debugged. I fear you risk killing the site completely if it stays like this for long. (Which would be a great pity as we've met some fantastic houseboys here) Good luck (another) Michael
