  1. Great post, JakMan... There are many more natural or basic products that are more useful and effective than chemical, and they cost far less: Baking Soda - dry as a scrub, add a few drops of water and make a paste to absorb discoloration, and as a deodorizer and decalcifier. See the Arm & Hammer site for a full rundown on the benefits. Vinegar - Disinfectant, solvent, decalcifier. Use on windows along with a few drops of dish soap and distilled water. Also combine with salt to kill unwanted foliage. Garlic, Red Pepper, Ginger - Antibacterial (also internal). The best cold cure ever: Combine 2 cloves of garlic with one hot red pepper, and a chunk of fresh ginger with 1.5 cups of (unfiltered best) apple cider vinegar in a blender and liquify. Store indefinitely in a brown bottle (no refriegeration needed). One tablespoon every two hours with a cold, one tablespoon morning and evening in the when exposed to those with a cold. Silver - Antibacterial. Silver and goldware originated in order to prevent spoilage of cream and as sanitary utensils. Silver solution prevents infection and disease, is an intense topical wound disinfectant, and in the right solution an internal wonder worker for staying well. Ammonia - Disinfectant, paint remover (as a soak), windows. Salt and Rice - Anti-humidity Essential oils/herbs: Tea Tree - Disinfectant, drying effect, antifungal (nails and feet) Lavender - Disinfectant, calming (try a bit under the nose and on temples before sleep, you'll pass out and sleep soundly). Anti-inflammatory, anti-dust mite, in a spray prevents spiders from placing webs. Grapefruit - Disinfectant, also fresh. Juice promotes weight loss, especially fresh squeezed. Blend rinds with water and strain, add soap as a disinfectant cleaner. Lemon Grass - Anti-parasite / insect Fresh Basil - Mosquito repellent Countless others for countless purposes - no household should be without a full array Beer - Snail bait. In a pie tin, they crawl in and drown, drunk. Garden Insect Spray: Combine elderberry leaves, hottest red pepper, and garlic in a blender and liquify. Add a few drops of dish soap, filter and add 50% distilled water. Interested? Plenty of information on the net that commercial products manufacturers and pharmas do their best to debunk.
  2. How are you identifying these as fake, GHFY? I came across a profile (also Denver) that was identical to another elsewhere on the site (first clue is use of the word "gat", a strange Brit-alike conjugation that does not exist). I can't seem to find the other now.
  3. A tendency here as in other sites is assumption. There are both houseboys and employers willing and able to travel great distances on the basis that meeting first is essential, even before a 3-month stay, and especially before a move that could even involve quitting a job and selling a house. For example, I met my spouse online and had to sell a house, ship the smallest amount of personal goods, apply for residency (a very, very tedious process), navigate international laws, and more. I had seen his profile in Europe and gave up. Thankfully, he contacted me and my assumption was proven wrong most recently in our third anniversary. Don't assume anything.
  4. Search is clearly the largest criteria, especially for those in Europe, as we are. Since EU citizens can freely travel, live and work anywhere in EU countries, and others are limited to a 90-day stay, this is critical. Due to visa requirements and travel considerations, why not structure a new search module that drills down: 1. Europe-EU/Americas/US/Australia (due to extraordinary travel)/Other (few Africa or Asia listings). 2. Google Map interactive (see other sites). Specify your location, and all list in the specified radius. https://code.tutsplus.com/courses/custom-interactive-maps-with-the-google-maps-api 3. Keyword 4. Inclusion of eligible relocate "yes" candidates checkbox
  5. Good move, as my nearly posted comment to those was to be that human trafficking is not only ridiculous but highly and internationally illegal. Even responding to such a post could be constituted as participation in an illegal activity, or the intent to do so.
  6. Suggested: Interactive modules that identify a general profile type... Body Type - Diet - Work Preference and Experience - Education - Entertainment - Hygiene - Health Conditions - Allergies - Personal These could be identified by an overall score system in a changing mix of primary color... from green for very health conscious and environmental through blue to violet to red for those leaning toward a clubbing, party and sex lifestyle. The point system in place for silver and gold levels of membership could be tagged in to encourage full completion of profile details, suggestions, and independent site promotion. We have been in contact with individuals with two degrees, and others who have no college experience. There are those working on or without their GED. This represents a vast difference in employer/houseboy interaction. Thoughts?
  7. Bravo, DicknLA... Let's take this suggestion a step further. Categories of food should be straightforward: Organic/Bio, Carnivore, Vegan, Kosher, Ethnic, Traditional, Junk Food Junky, Whole Foods Only, for example, with the ability to check multiple boxes. Within that, a small narrative space. Want a template? Go to any airline reservation meal category selection, and add a small narrative box. Also, food and health allergies, and health conditions. If there's a diabetic employer, where a diabetic houseboy is available... hello. In our case, we grow most of our own food in an idyllic organic setting. Imagine some houseboy arriving after our search and cost of air fare that turns out to be on a strict fast food and junk diet, that hates the array of fruits and vegatables we grow, and is allergic to gardening. An absolute, unquestionable deal breaker.
  8. This remains a problem on tablets and smartphones, to the extent that viewing photos on those devices is useless. This applies at the minimum on iDevices (Apple). As the success of the site depends on hits for advertising, and mobile devices are quickly and vastly outnumbering use of laptops and PC's, you're clearly missing revenue. The easy rectification is to utilize an Apple device or Mac to browse the site, then Apple native software to export HTML code suitable for all mobile devices, regardless of make. There's a reason Hollywood, graphics professionals and serious web designers use Apple devices. If you'd like to contact me, I've had a long background in advertising, graphics, consultation and marketing strategies that avoid many of the pitfalls herds of advertisers and sites follow flocks of corporate sheep into. It's uncanny how when one major player selects a golden child, everyone switches worship. D
  9. Scams are absolutely everywhere, and gay men in general are targets as they want to believe that the opportunity for our dreams not only exists but is as easy as going to the local store and picking it up. We as "employers" are real, and houseboys do exist.. not everyone is scamming. All suggestions here are excellent. Due diligence, background checks, not advancing money... all important. As to employers "not paying taxes" one should really research the basis for the Federal Reserve and IRS and you'll see that if you do not perform due diligence in that arena, it is truly we the taxpayers being scammed. That goes to say that in life there is no golden ring to grab on this carousel we call earth. Like everything else, you have to give for what you get, and the benefits received are always equal to or less than those given. The glass is half full, gentlemen. Remember that dark cannot invade light, but light certainly can eliminate dark!
