Hi! I am from Pennsylvania, but I currently travel weekly for work. We have had 3 long successful term Houseboys and while every situation and agreement is different I pay what the national average is listed for an Au Pair. Here in the US it's roughly $200 per week, then give them room/board and cover any travel that they do with us or meals out. We do not cover phone expenses or auto expenses. Any food request we are usually happy to accommodate. When meeting someone for the first time we will not pay any money up front but we will reimburse them for travel to us. We do this because of all of the scammers. ABSOLUTELY NO MONEY BEFORE WE MEET THEM! I tell everyone one of them this upfront and at some point most of them ask for money. I've been on and off here for a decade. I had one houseboy situation work out for about 8 years. He didn't have legal status and thats why he went the HB route. I didn't think of it that way but that's a fair point? I don't have proper stats to make this a fact but here's my theory: 1. Big chunk of the baby boomers are straight and they are looking for women (whether that's sugar arrangement, marriage, gf, maid with benefits, etc) 2. Older gen may be more conservative in nature as being gay was considered taboo for much of their lives in the past and they prefer to be as low profile as possible preferring for short-term and discrete arrangement in nature. 3. Volatile economy and inflation is a bitch. Not all baby boomers managed to lock down a place they own (or managed to secure a low interest mortgage that is almost paid off) and their buying power are declining (perhaps not as bad as the next gens but still). This may make it harder to all-paid accommodation longterm if not lifetime. That's a bit of a commitment you don't take lightly like having a child. 4. Seems like this website isn't very active unfortunately. I imagine many found someone by now or got discouraged from spams/bots and exited the market. 5. I imagine for a lot of older gens who are established, they have been successful because they surround themselves with people who made it in life and avoiding people with liabilities (for drama-free sanity, financial protection, etc). It’s loaded for me plenty of times in the past just fine, not taking long at all and popping up almost immediately But at least a year ago now it stopped working for me. With Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and other browser platforms, there is an add-on application you can get generally called Reverse Image Search allowing you to RIGHT click on a photo and search for similar across numerous websites. A good 30% of the 'houseboys' on this website are FRAUDULENT - using someone else's photos OR claiming to be someone else. PLUS, IF you contact someone and they refuse to send additional photos - THAT'S a good indication that something's wrong!

Vegasboi is not a scammer. He did live in my home for 10 months. He does lie a lot and he doesn't look like his profile picture anymore. He's probably in his 40s now. That is why you won't get a current picture of him. He is a good house keeper, but he is not good company. He can be controlling and aggressive. So good luck with this guy.
